Discover Why Libraries Rock @ Cornwall Public Library

CORNWALL, NY – Cornwall Public Library’s 2018 Summer Reading Program, “Libraries Rock” officially begins Monday, June 25 at 6:00pm with its annual kick-off and registration event with Marvelous Mutts. Marvelous Mutts have wowed crowds throughout North America, Canada and South America, performing at fairs, festivals, theme parks, and more. The shows feature some of the world’s finest canine athletes, all adopted from shelters and rescues. The library will also be hosting a teen kick-off event (grades 6-12), a “Party 2 Dye 4,”on Wednesday, June 27 at 3:00pm. Bring friends, something to tie-dye and sign-up for summer reading!

Once you are registered for Summer Reading, there are many exciting events coming your way for every age from infants to adults. There are programs all summer long for children including Minecraft Mania, Farmer’s Market Storytime, and LEGO WeDo Fun. Teens can get involved through our Teen Book Club in preparation for Battle of the Books or come hear local teen rock group Apricity.
