Arrests
09/07/23 William E Bastidasguaraca, age 33, of Spring Valley, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle in the 2nd degree, tinted windows and no/exp inspection.
Incidents
09/05/23 Police respond to Laurel Ave to assist an elderly woman whose car would not start. She was sitting over an hour waiting for AAA which did not respond.
09/05/23 A subject reported fraud after her husband thought he was buying tickets from Ticketmaster but Ticketmaster instructed him to purchase ebay cards. She was instructed to caller credit cards and cancel the purchase.
09/05/23 A subject reported that a black Toyota Highlander pulled up to the basketball courts and someone from the vehicle fired a bb gun at basketball players.
09/05/23 Police move a tree blocking Jackson Ave.
09/06/23 Police notify Central Hudson of wires down on Mine Hill Rd.
09/06/23 Police take a report of a minor vehicle accident in the Quaker ave parking lot.

09/08/23 Police report to school bus vs car accident. All children on bus cleared medically on the scene by the school nurse.

09/12/23 A subject reported that her landlord is harassing her over back rent. Subject was advised that it is not harassment for a landlord to ask for owed rent and the matter is a civil issue.

09/23/23 A subject reported a stolen check from a mailbox which was stolen and deposited within 24 hrs and the thief changed the amount of the check from $250 to $950. Subject advised to speak to the Post Master for assistance.
