Arrests
09/01/20 A 47 yr old male was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
Incidents
Police issue approximately 8 warnings and 27 summonses to drivers including warnings and summonses issued for parking at the riverfront without a permit and warnings and summonses issued during a special traffic assignment.
08/24/20 Police respond to a report of a disabled vehicle and assist driver with tow service.
08/25/20 Police respond to Bayview Ave for a report of a tree down and close gate to Rt 218.
08/27/20 Police respond to Rt 218 and remove a tree blocking the roadway.
08/28/20 Police respond to Mountain Rd and Rt 9w for an accident involving two vehicles with one minor injury.
08/28/20 Police take a report of a vehicle accident causing minor damage to a vehicle.
08/28/20 Police respond to River Ave for a report of a vehicle hitting several mailboxes causing over $200 worth of damage and leaving the scene. Neighbors reported seeing a female on her cell phone hit the mailboxes. Police recovered a piece of fog light cover which matches a black 2010-2012 Subaru Outback and logged it into evidence.
08/31/20 Police respond to Maple Ave for a minor accident involving the Village garbage truck and a fence and notify property owner.
08/31/20 Police respond to Hudson St and First St for a two vehicle accident.
09/01/20 Police assist a homeowner to move an injured possum.
09/01/20 Police take a report of burglary. Someone removed a $300 bike from a garage on River Ave.
09/01/20 Police respond and an arrest was made after a report of a male subject yelling at kids who pushed a male off of his bike, took the bike and was chasing the kids down Rt 218.
09/04/20 Police respond to Rt 9W for a one vehicle accident no reported injuries.
09/07/20 Police respond to Rt 9W for a disabled vehicle blocking traffic.
09/08/20 Police and Fire Dept respond to Rt 9W for a car fire.
09/09/20 Police respond to Lafayette St. for a vehicle lockout.
09/10/20 Police respond to a Hudson St for a school bus vs hydrant accident, no injuries. The school bus had a front door window broken, no damage to fire hydrant.
09/10/20 Police take a report of criminal mischief. A person drove away from Cumberland Farms with the gas pump still in their car and ripped the handle off of the gas pump. The driver reattached the pump handle but left the scene.
09/12/20 Police responded to Mountain Rd for a 1 vehicle accident which went off of the road causing damage to the vehicle.
09/12/20 Police respond to Roe Ave. for a water main break.
