Arrests

02/18/20 Salvator M. Matos, age 37, of Cornwall-on-Hudson, Ny was arrested and charged with assault in the 3rd degree.

Incidents
Police issue approximately 14 warnings and 11 summons to drivers including warnings for parking on the riverfront without a permit.
02/03/20 Police respond to Rt 9W and Reservoir Rd for a 2 car accident with injuries.
02/04/20 Police on Patrol noticed vandalism to a stop sign at Spruce Ave and Prospect St. An unknown subject or subjects paint the letters TB in yellow paint.
02/04/20 Police on Patrol found vandalism to the green dog bags box and Chamber of Commerce signs at the waterfront. Unknown subject or subjects painted the letters BBK NBNY.
02/04/20 A caller reported that multiple trees in the park entrance on Mountain Rd were spray painted with green paint.
02/06/20 A caller stated that a subject was going door to door asking for money on Duncan Ave.
02/08/20 A caller reported that a deer was hit by a train and is between the CSX tracks. Police dispatch the deer humanely due to broken legs.
02/08/20 Police assist Town Police with multiple vehicle accidents and icy road conditions.
02/10/20 Police on Patrol noticed vandalism to a telephone utility box. An unknown subject painted words in scribble with red paint.
02/10/20 Police respond to NYMA about an incident that occurred at the school.
02/12/20 A subject reported that a male was walking around the dance studio asking for money. Police located the subject at his home and advised him not to panhandle anymore. The subject stated that he will not panhandle anymore and will be moving out of state.
02/13/20 A resident came in to Police headquarters to report criminal mischief. An unknown subject spray painted the words HA HA and CB on her fence.
02/14/20 Police assist Newburgh and New Windsor Police with apprehending robbery suspects on Rt 9W north near Sportsplex.
02/17/20 Police assist Town Police with a 1 vehicle accident with injuries on Rt 9W.
02/17/20 Police respond to Rt 9W for a report of car vs. deer on Rt 9W.
02/19/20 Police respond to Cumberland for a report of a man panhandling and advise the subject.
02/19/20 Police advises Water Dept to turn off water to a residence due to a broken water pipe.
