Arrests
01/31/20 Wayne M Batterson, age 65, of New Windsor, Ny was arrested and charged with aggravated DWI and DWI charges.
02/01/20 Patrick B Connolly, age 50, of Cornwall, NY was arrested on a warrant.
02/02/20 Salvador Martinho Matos, age 37, of Highland, NY was arrested on 2 DWI charges.
Incidents
01/21/20 police respond to Rt 9W NB for a vehicle stuck and causing a hazardous condition.
01/23/20 A caller reported that youths were walking on thin ice on the pond.
01/24/20 Caller reported deceased deer in roadway, Highway Dept. notified for removal.
01/26/20 Police respond to several reports of icy conditions and notify Highway Dept.
01/26/20 Police humanely dispatch an injured deer on Rt9W.
01/27/20 Police take a report of fraud involving a Verizon account closed without permission of the account owner.
01/27/20 A subject reported that he found dents and marks on his vehicle.
01/28/20 A mother reported that her son was hit in the face at The Cornwall High School.
01/30/20 A caller reported fraud involving a telephone call with a subject asking for bail money.
01/31/20 A caller reported credit card fraud. The subject stated that a new card was requested from a Manhattan address and $6900 in transactions occurred in Florida and card was cancelled. The card was allegedly skimmed at an unknown location.
02/01/20 Police respond to Mountain Brook Rd for a report of a fire of cardboard under a truck.
