Police issue approximately 17 warnings and 14 summonses to drivers including warnings and summonses issued for parking at the riverfront without a permit.
09/19/19 Patrol assisted the Town PD with canvassing for a stolen vehicle from the middle school.
09/21/19 A caller reported that a neighbor struck a contractors vehicle at his residence.
09/22/19 Police log a found mountain bike.
09/23/19 Police give a courtesy ride to a Middle School student who missed the bus.
09/24/19 Police assist Fire Depts and State Police with a jumper off the Newburgh/Beacon bridge.
09/26/19 Police respond to a report of a large bear in the back of a residence on Boulevard.
09/29/19 Police respond to a report of a bag of marijuana at the gazebo. The substance tested positive for THC and was placed into evidence as found property.
09/17/19 A resident came to headquarters to make a complaint about her neighbors garbage and that rats are on her property due to the garbage.
