Arrests
09/07/18 Nikko V Cruz, age 27, of Wallkill, NY was arrested and charged with illegal possession of marijuana in the 5th degree and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 3rd degree.
09/05/18 A 20 yr old male from Highland, NY is arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 3rd degree.
09/12/18 An 18 yr old female from Cornwall, NY was arrested and charged with criminal mischief in the 4th degree.
09/14/18 Meghan Jean Conley, age 26, of Cornwall, NY was arrested and charged with burglary in the 2nd degree, criminal contempt in the 1st degree and assault in the 3rd degree.
09/14/18 Brittany D Shay, 41, of Newburgh, Ny was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
Incidents
09/03/18 Police respond to Maple Road for a report is mail being electrocuted on wires at the location the subject was cutting down a tree.
09/03/18 A call him reported criminal mischief at her residence on Peter Scott Drive. She found her back door knob damaged.
09/05/18 Police respond to a report of a large dog inside of a car with the windows open and who appeared to be in distress due to the heat. Police advise dog owner about leaving animal in vehicle.
09/06/18 A subject came in to report fraud. Mail was taken out of her mailbox and someone cashed her checks.
09/09/18 Police and COVAC respond to residence for a male that was attacked by a bear in his garage. The man had been attacked by a bear and had large claw marks on his chest. COVAC tended to his wound and transported him to the hospital.
09/10/18 Police assist Village Police with a 1 vehicle accident on Rt 9W.
09/10/18 Police clear a large branch off of the Angola Road.
09/12/18 Police respond to a bank on Quaker Avenue for a report of a female making a scene who is stating that the bank had a check that belongs to her. The bank said that they do not have the check and then later did in fact find her check.
