Arrests
08/30/17 Nora Be a Young, age 58, of New Windsor, NY was arrested and charged with DWI and an aggravated driving while under the influence charge.
08/31/17 Robert Bernard Collins, age 19, of Cornwall, NY was arrested and charged with DWI, tampering with evidence, ability impaired by drugs and unlawful possession of marijuana.
09/01/17 A 41 yr old female from Walden, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 3rd degree.
09/04/17 A 31 yr old male from Cornwall, NY was arrested and charged with grand larceny in the 4th degree, criminal mischief in the 4th degree, assault in the 3rd degree, unlawful imprisonment in the 2nd degree and endangering the welfare of a child. The incident stemmed from a domestic dispute.
09/05/17 Pamela L Allen, age 21, of Mahwah, NJ was arrested on a warrant.
09/08/17 A 30 yr old male from Highland Mills, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 2nd degree.
09/10/17 John F Elliott, age 30 of Highland Mills, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 2nd degree, false impersonation, speeding in a posted zone and unlicensed driver charge.
09/10/17 A 33 yr old male from Spring Valley, NY was arrested for an interlock violation.
09/10/17 A 25 yr old male from New Windsor, NY was arrested for a suspended registration.
Incidents
08/28/17 A resident from Continental Rd called to report a yellow bull dozer on his front lawn and that a pipeline was presumably without permission. The officer advised the resident that it is a civil matter and they he should contact the building inspector.
08/28/17 A caller reported fraud. He leaned that his information was used to open up a Sprint mobile account and his wife’s information used to open up several credit cards.
08/28/17 Fire Dept dispatched to Mailler Ave for a report of a leaking BBQ propane tank.
08/28/17 Fire Dept respond to Mine Hill Rd fr a report of a kitchen outlet fire.
08/30/17 A small dog with no tags was found on Willow Ave and transported to Woodbury Animal Shelter.
08/31/17 A caller reported bear on their property on Angola Rd.
09/02/17 Police respond to Russell And Highland St for a report of 2 dogs continually barking.
09/04/17 Fire Dept responds to Jackson Ave for a transformer fire.
09/07/17 Police respond for a tree down on Rt 218.
09/08/17 A resident on Sycamore Dr. reported criminal mischief. Someone broke a window on his pickup truck.
