Arrests
08/05/17 A 23 yr old male from Elmhurst, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 3rd degree.
Incidents
07/31/17 Police issue approximately 1 warning and 9 summonses to drivers including summonses for parking at the riverfront without a permit.
08/02/17 Police respond to Wood Ave for a report of a loose dog. Police secure the dog at its residence, provided water and contacted the dog’s owner.
08/03/17 A caller advised that there is a problem with the railroad signal arms at Shore Rd. CSX advised arms down and blocking traffic.
08/05/17 Subjects parked at the gazebo on the riverfront were advised to pick up daily parking permits from Village Pizza.
08/06/17 Police respond to Curie Rd for a report of a vehicle backing up into another vehicle.
