07/24/17-08/06/17

Arrests

07/24/17 Rodney P Brewer, age 55, of Newburgh, NY was arrested and charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.
07/28/17 Erasmo Antonio Lopez, age 46, of Garnerville NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 3rd degree and unreasonable speed.
07/30/17 Gina M Alisandrelli, age 32, of Washingtonville, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 3rd degree, no/exp insurance, unregistered MV and equipment charge.
07/30/17 A 34 yr old male from Cornwall, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 3rd degree.
07/31/17 A 34 year old male from Cornwall, NY was arrested and charged with criminal mischief in the 4th degree.
08/05/17 Marquis O Edwards, age 18, of Newburgh, NY was arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 2nd degree, unlicensed driver, unreasonable speed and tailgating.
08/06/17 Marcos A Ramos, age 30, of Garfield, NY was arrested and charged with ability impairment.
08/06/17 Gilead E Derose, age 27, of Newburgh, NY was arrested and charged with DWI-felony charge, an interlock violation, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 3rd degree and for a field test violation.

Incidents
07/24/17 Police respond to Village Pizza for a report of kids lighting fireworks in the middle of the road. Subjects advised by Police.
07/26/17 Police respond to Rt 94 for a report of criminal mischief. Someone spray painted graffiti on a trailer.
07/27/17 Police respond to Pleasant Hill Rd for a report of a grill on fire. SMFD extinguished prior to arrival.
07/28/17 please respond to Quaker Avenue for a report of the machines running in the area at 5:20 AM please advise subject to turn off the paving machines.
08/03/17 Police receive a report that a security sign was taken from a residence on Canterbury Ave.
08/04/17 Police respond to Shore Drive for a report of someone knocking on a door and leaving at 3:22 am. Police observe that 2 mailboxes on Waterview Terrace had been knocked off their posts. Police respond to Waterview Terrace for a report of a damaged mailbox. Police spoke to a resident on Shore Drive who had a door bell camera and the resident advised the her doorbell did ring at 3:15am. She was able to provide video and a clear photo of the subject to the Police.
08/04/17 A caller reported fraud when he received a band card in the mail with starter checks to an account he didn’t open. A Police report was written and the bank contacted about the account.
08/05/17 A caller stated that there was a car with its window smashed out in the trailhead parking area on Otterkill Road. Police spoke to people in the area to get a description of the person who possibly smashed the window and took a hammer which was logged into evidence.
08/06/17 A subject was operating a Wounded Warriors donation table in front of DeCicco’s. Police questioned the subject, he stated that it was for Knights of Columbus but he could not produce any paperwork, membership card or even contact person. Police contacted Knights of Columbus and confirmed that he is not associated, has never provided funds and that he is not a member. Subject was advised that he could be arrested for a scheme to defraud. Management of the DeCicco's and Dunkin' Donuts were also advised.
08/05/17 Police call customer located a vehicle involved in the varsity at Price chopper. When the Officer approached the vehicle the proceeds were observed between the legs of the front seat passenger. The call was then transferred to New Windsor Police department.
08/06/17 CSX reported a male subject and a dog riding a freight train north on the Hudson river line freight train stopped at the waterfront in the subject was removed from the train and him and his dog were given courtesy transport to Rt 9W.
