12 PM – Tea and a Classic Film Program – The Help – Drop-in program
An aspiring author during the Civil Rights movement of the 1960s decides to write a book detailing the African-American maids’ point of view on the white families for whom they work, and the hardships they go through on a daily basis. Light fare (bring your own) at noon; movie at 12:30. Coffee and tea provided by the library. Patrons are also free to bring a trinket for the door prize.
