Patricia M. Woodruff, of Cornwall, NY entered into eternal rest on February 7, 2018 at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh, NY. She was 79 years old.
The daughter of the late Carmine Abbatiello and Theresa (Connolly) Abbatiello, Patricia was born on March 27, 1938 in Yonkers, NY.
Patricia was a retired Contracting Officer for the United States Military Academy at West Point, West Point, NY. Because of her life-long love of learning and her attendance of many adult education programs, Patricia was the recipient of many awards during her time at West Point.
Patricia was the former Proprietor and Owner of Carnival of Gifts in Highland Falls for many years. She had a passion for gardening and pottery and shared her talent with many. Her love also extended beyond her human family to her four-legged friends.
Patricia is survived by her adoring sisters: Carol A. Wilkinson of Poughkeepsie, NY and Marcia J. Fraleigh and her husband Patrick of Poughkeepsie, NY; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, February 11th at Quigley Bros. Funeral Home, 337 Hudson St. Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 p.m. on Monday, February 12th at St. Thomas of Canterbury Church, 340 Hudson Street, Cornwall-On-Hudson, NY. Cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory, Middle Hope, NY.
